The Barossa Arts Festival is a celebration of colour, creativity and culture. It has been created and driven by local artists and supportive partners. It is a bi-annual event, created through collaborative partnerships between artists, local industry and the public.

It is designed to be a platform that showcases the talent of our local SA Artists, creates interest in the Arts and increases tourism to the area, making Art and a variety of Art practices available and inclusive to all ages, abilities and cultures.

We believe it’s important that the Barossa is recognised for more than just our excellent wines and food. This is now a popular addition to Barossa’s Event calendar, and an amazing opportunity to raise the profile of the Arts and provide a valuable economic boost to Artists and local businesses in the region through increased visitation still recovering from the serious impact of Covid.

The event aims to deliver 30+ dynamic Artist led workshops, live visual art demonstrations, opportunities to meet the artists, a variety of live music, partnered with local wines and cuisine and a range of creative opportunities for the community to be involved with. The unique chance to see a huge range of Artists working live across a range of media will be a highlight during our “Meet The Maker” weekend Apr 6-7.
